Comprehensive Therapy Services specializes in providing pediatric therapy to patients and their families with a inter-disciplinary, team approach to speech and language, fine and gross motor, and sensory-integration problems.

The staff at Comprehensive Therapy Services includes Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Play therapists. Our office also offers treatment rooms with two-way mirrors, so that parents can observe their child’s session in order to facilitate carryover of new skills at home.

Comprehensive Therapy Services serves the pediatric therapy needs of Dallas and Collin Counties with specialized evaluation, consultation and therapy services for:

• Speech and Language Therapy and Evaluations Including evaluation and therapy for those who demonstrate feeding, articulation, language, voice, stuttering, auditory processing and/or neurological disorders.

• Occupational Therapy and Evaluations – Including evaluation and therapy for those who demonstrate delays in fine motor skills, sensory skills, and/or activities of daily living skills.

• Physical Therapy and Evaluations – Including evaluation and therapy treatment for patients who demonstrate delays or problems in gross (large) motor skills, problems with gait, and/or needs involving recommendations regarding ADLs and associated equipment.

• Augmentative and Alternative Communication – Specialists provide consultation, evaluation, and training for individuals with augmentative communication needs due to severe speech impairments.

• Small Groups - Group Occupational and Speech therapy are offered and CTS is a provider for many insurance plans.

• Play Therapy – CTS is pleased to offer play therapy services, for children who are experiencing psychological and emotional difficulties. Using play and creative arts therapies, the therapist enables the child to express emotion without words. The therapist works closely with parents, guiding them in interpreting their child’s emotions underlying negative behaviors and creating therapeutic interactions at home. A play therapist can provide the following services: play therapy, adult therapy, parenting education/consultation, and infant massage instruction.

• The Listening Program - Comprehensive Therapy Services CTS is pleased to announce two of our therapists are now certified in the Therapeutic Listening Program. This program is an auditory intervention that uses organized sound patterns in music to impact the nervous system. It can impact/increase postural control, motor coordination, body and spatial awareness in space, orientation to sound, and increase focused attention for children, adolescents and adults. • Pragmatic Language Group - A language group for preschoolers which focuses on social interaction skills.

• Fast ForWord™ - A computer based auditory training program to enhance language-learning abilities.

• Speakers - Speakers provided to present a variety of topics for small group meetings.
